We're sorry to see you go. You can request permanent deletion of your EpicRackets account at any time. Please read the information below carefully before proceeding.

How to Delete Your Account

You can request account deletion in two ways:

1From the Mobile App

  1. Open the EpicRackets app and log in to your account
  2. Go to Profile > Settings
  3. Scroll down and tap 'Privacy & Security'
  4. Tap 'Delete Account'
  5. Confirm your decision by entering your password
  6. Tap 'Delete My Account' to submit the request

2By Email

Send an email to our support team at support@epicrackets.com

Subject: Account Deletion Request

Please include the following information:

  • Your registered email address
  • Your username
  • Brief reason for deletion (optional)
  • Confirmation that you understand the consequences

We'll process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you request account deletion, the following will occur:

Immediate Actions

  • Your account will be deactivated and you'll be logged out
  • Your profile will no longer be visible to other users
  • Active listings will be removed from the marketplace
  • You won't be able to make new purchases or sales

Within 30 Days

  • All personal information will be permanently deleted (name, email, phone, address)
  • Your listings, photos, and descriptions will be removed
  • Messages and chat history will be deleted
  • Payment methods will be removed
  • Your seller account and payout information will be deleted

Information We Retain

For legal compliance and fraud prevention, we may retain:

  • Transaction records for completed orders (anonymized after 7 years)
  • Tax and accounting documents as required by law
  • Records of reported violations or disputes
  • Aggregated analytics data (non-identifiable)

Before You Delete Your Account

Please note the following important points:

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • You must complete or cancel all active orders before deletion
  • Outstanding payments to sellers will be processed before deletion
  • You should withdraw any available balance from your seller account
  • Save any important information from your messages or orders
  • If you have active disputes, they must be resolved first

What About My Active Orders?

If you're a buyer:

You must wait for all purchased items to be delivered and confirmed, or cancel pending orders before deleting your account.

If you're a seller:

You must fulfill all sold items and ensure payment has been released, or cancel active listings before account deletion.

If you have ongoing transactions, we recommend waiting until they're completed. Contact support if you need help resolving any issues.

Alternatives to Deleting Your Account

If you're not ready for permanent deletion, consider these options:

Deactivate Instead

Temporarily disable your account without losing your data. You can reactivate it anytime by logging back in.

Adjust Privacy Settings

Hide your email, phone number, or location from your public profile in Privacy & Security settings.

Manage Notifications

Turn off email or push notifications if they're bothering you, without deleting your account.

Take a Break

Simply stop using the app for a while. Your account will remain safe and secure.

Can I Reactivate My Account?

Once your account is permanently deleted (after 30 days), it cannot be recovered. You would need to create a new account from scratch, and your previous listings, reviews, and history will be lost forever.

During the 30-day grace period, you may contact support to cancel the deletion request.
